this op-ed piece is a little "ok i get it, brooklyn should be listed on stuffwhitepeoplelike.com" but the final act in which he insanely starts rambling about the warriors is worth the price of admission. also: colson whitehead is quite a name.

That last part is connected with the rest of the piece how, exactly? It's like some riff he's been saving for months just waiting for the right moment to tack it on to something and he finally just breaks down and says, "I'll put it here," pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey style.
